How soon after application can I have a bad tattoo removed?

Unfortunately, this is now a regular question, mainly due to the increase in demand for eyebrow and lip ink due to pressure from social media sites to ‘look better’ than nature made you. The number of untrained and rogue ‘beauticians’ is increasing causing further heartache for people, fortunately we are here to help'

This is a simple answer;

Lips – We will do lip liner removal or part removal where the lines are very bad. This can be done no sooner than 2 weeks after application. The scabbing and swelling needs to have fully gone and feeling needs to have returned to normal.

Eyebrows – These can be done as soon as 1 week after application if there is no residual scabbing or swelling. We do prefer to leave for 2 weeks.

Body ink – These will need to heal for 4 to 6 weeks before we can start the removal process. This is because the ink is injected much deeper into the skin and those deeper layers take a little longer to return to normal function than the upper layers.

Eyeliner - This is not something we recommend and should ONLY be done by a doctor either in day surgery clinic or rooms where anaesthetic is available. The risk to your sight is far too high and the medical insurance required is almost impossible to get. Following eyelid surgery, it’s much better to wait the 2 years for the ink to fade rather than risk permanent eye damage.
