How well does laser tattoo removal work?

Laser tattoo removal works very well. However, like all treatments, it depends on the individual’s unique circumstances. For example, lighter tattoo's are more difficult to remove than darker ones, and some skin tomes respond better than others.

Redheads tend to require a little more attention due to the easily burnt nature of their skin. Often the machine settings will need to be altered in order to ensure the deep layers do not become too hot which creates blistering. Occasionally it requires additional sessions if the power settings are reduced too much.

As the laser works directly on the ink and not the actual tissue it also works on any colour skin, although darker skin may have some 'blanching' for a while afterwards if they have certain healing issues.

If you want a better idea of what to expect, it’s best to visit a tattoo removal specialist who can analyse your tattoo and skin to give you a better idea.
