What To Expect During The Healing Process

Depending on the laser that is used for your procedure, recovery and healing times can vary greatly.

During the actual treatment, your tattoo will likely turn a frosty white. This is due to the carbon dioxide that is being released as the laser penetrates the outer layers of the skin.

Soon after treatment, your treated area may feel like a slight sunburn.. This typically lasts 1-2 days. This is all totally normal. The thickening or shedding of the outer layer of skin is also something that happens occasionally and is your body’s way of trying to heal itself. Some people may notice light bleeding or spotting in the area, this is also normal.
